Juha is a global technology and telecom executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across the U.S., Middle East, Europe, and Africa. He is known for driving turnarounds, launching digital platform businesses, and unlocking new revenue streams in highly competitive markets.
As Vice President of Infrastructure at Tonomus, he led the development of the Digital Hub and Carrier Neutral Network strategies for Saudi Arabia and NEOM, including national-scale platforms such as data centers, subsea cable systems, and AI infrastructure.
During his tenure at Gartner (USA), he published influential research on outcome-based business models and telcos-as-techcos, and launched the Global Eye on Innovation program for communication service providers.
As Head of Innovation & Digital Services at Zain Group, he drove a regional digital transformation targeting over $1B in new annual revenue, launched a group-wide API platform now operating as a standalone business with $100M+ turnover, and created a digital mobile B-brand operator with 2M+ customers and over $200M in annual revenue.
Other senior roles include serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Zain Saudi Arabia and Chief Commercial Officer at Wataniya Telecom, where he was responsible for leading and managing consumer and B2B businesses.
Earlier in his career, Juha worked as Chief Architect at SoneraZed, responsible for defining the technology strategy, operating model, and launching early-stage mobile content services across 14 countries.
Juha brings deep expertise in turnarounds, digital growth, platform business models, customer-experience transformation, strategic partnerships, and API ecosystems. He serves as a trusted advisor to organizations aiming to accelerate digital innovation, enter new markets, and build customer-centric, data-driven businesses.
Juha holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology.
